Screen Grammar.
Importance of Cinema in the History of Mankind, The Shot, Scene, Sequence, Sequence Shot, Connotation (Point of View), Juxtaposition, The Axis (Line of Action), Camera Moves, Floor Plans and Storyboards
Breaking up a Story into Shots, Exercise: Create a Storyboard of the Screenplay, Exercise: Shoot small exercise from the Storyboard.
Directing Actors.
Casting, Auditions, Readings, Rehearsals, Actor’s Script Breakdown, Improvisation and Shooting.
Pre-Production.
Production Script Breakdown, Exercise: Write another Script to put into Production (Break into Groups), Crew Roles and Responsibilities, Call Sheets, Breakdowns, Day out of Day’s, Schedule, Set Rules and Etiquette, Exercise: Shoot Short Film.
